Thirty years ago, JustWorks opened its doors in San Jose with a straightforward promise; make technology work simply, in real partnership with our customers.
Three decades later, that promise is still the foundation of everything we do, and we wouldn’t be here without the customers, partners, and colleagues who have trusted us along the way.
Where It All Began
In 1996, the technology landscape for Bay Area businesses looked very different. Servers lived in closets, email was still a novelty for many small businesses, and the idea of “the cloud” was something reserved for science fiction. From our home in Silicon Valley, the heart of the region that has reshaped the world through technology, JustWorks set out to make enterprise-class IT accessible to the businesses that needed it most.
Our founding philosophy was deceptively simple: predictable, fixed monthly fees, tailored support, and Solutions that Just Work. No surprise charges, or complicated projects to drive up billable hours. Just reliable IT, delivered by people who genuinely care.
Staying the Course Through the Waves
A lot has changed since 1996. We’ve lived through the dot-com boom and bust, the shift from on-premise servers to hybrid cloud environments, the rise of cybersecurity as a boardroom priority, and most recently, the rapid arrival of AI as a practical business tool. Through every wave, JustWorks has adapted and expanded our services to meet our clients where they are, without ever losing sight of the core values that got us here.
Today, our services span managed IT support, cybersecurity planning and compliance under our SecureWorks offering, cloud and on-site systems management, and our newest capability, InfoWorks: practical, secure AI tools built to bring the real benefits of information intelligence to our clients without the third party channels or complexity headaches.
Commitments That Will Never Change
In an industry that celebrates disruption, and constantly chases shiny new toys, we’re proud of what hasn’t changed.
We still believe that IT should be simple to buy, simple to use, and completely reliable. We still believe that a fixed monthly fee, with no hidden costs, is the fairest and most effective way to align our incentives with yours. When we’re motivated to prevent problems rather than bill for fixing them, everybody wins.
We still answer the phone. We still show up. And we still care deeply about the businesses we serve, from manufacturing & construction, to professional services or anywhere in between. Our team remains small by design. That means you know who you’re talking to, and they know your systems. The same professionalism and empathy that has defined JustWorks internally is what shows up at your door, or on your screen, when you need us.

A Milestone and a New Chapter
This 30th anniversary marks not only a celebration, but a transition. Andrew Percy, who founded JustWorks in 1996 and has led the company ever since, is passing the reins to the next generation, his two sons Ayden & Callum, who will carry the business forward with the same values and commitment to clients that have defined JustWorks from the very beginning.
In Andrew’s own words: “It’s been a pleasure and an honor. Now it’s time for a new generation.”
It’s a fitting moment. JustWorks has always been a company built on relationships, with clients, with partners, and within the team itself. Keeping the business in the family is a natural expression of that ethos, and a strong signal that the culture Andrew built over 30 years is in good hands.
Looking Ahead
The next chapter of JustWorks begins with a deep foundation to build on. AI is already transforming how businesses operate, cybersecurity threats continue to evolve, and the demands on IT have never been greater. But the fundamentals of trust, reliability, simplicity, and genuine partnership will always matter.
The new leadership is committed to evolving JustWorks’ services, deepening expertise, and staying ahead of what clients need. Most importantly, they’ll keep doing what JustWorks has always done: making IT simple, so you can focus on what makes your business great.
