We have made some really exciting updates to our SecureWorks cyber security planning tools for 2024. The enhancements make SecureWorks even more powerful, simple to use, and easy to customize.
Data Tracing
By specifying the types of sensitive data that each department handles, and the zones that each application operates in, SecureWorks will trace those data types down through your applications and systems to identify where sensitive data is stored and processed.
Now you can see where you need to focus on controls for each data type, such as Personally Identifying Information (PII) or tax data (TAX). SecureWorks customers can even specify custom data types and trace those through their systems and applications.
Controls for Applications
Speaking of controls, you can now specify the Controls that are implemented in each application. So if you use MFA for access or have separate roles for different people, those are reflected in your security plan.
Automated Response generation
We have added automatic generation of Business Impact Analysis, Data Classifications, and Systems and Applications responses. Any time you update your SecureWorks configuration these responses are automatically re-generated to reflect your changes. This saves hours of work and means that your security plan is always right up-to-date.
Improved interface design
Leveraging the latest improvement in UI design, your SecureWorks planning tools are now even more beautiful and functional to use.
Compliance Mappings
Now, whenever you get a new contract with requirements for your cyber security, we can map those questions directly on to your security plan (requires SecureWorks paid service). This means faster, more accurate and more comprehensive responses to compliance requests. You also get a history of your responses so you can track progress over time.
SecureWorks for Everyone
The SecureWorks section of the JustWorks Custom portal is now active for all our customers. You can manage your security plan yourself or add our low cost SecureWorks service and we will proactively manage it with you.
